JoaQuin Manufacturing Corporation was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1978. Over nearly half a century, JoaQuin has grown into one of the leading designers and manufacturers of specialized equipment enclosures in the United States. ISO 9001:2015 certified and serving a diverse range of industries, our experienced team brings 350+ combined years of hands-on expertise to every project.
JoaQuin is a minority-owned family business, now in its third generation. Honoring our origins is central to our identity and informs our commitment to delivering a thoughtful, personal customer service experience. As a certified DBE and MBE in multiple states, we take pride in the unique perspectives and values our certifications bring to our industry.
Every structure leaves our Denver facility fully engineered, fabricated, wired, tested, and certified. We don't build boxes — we build integrated systems ready to energize the moment they reach your site. Our company has successfully addressed complex shelter needs across Oil & Gas, Power/Utility, Transportation, Communication, Data Management, Military, Industrial, Government, and cutting-edge Solar and Wind Technology projects.
Strategically located in the center of the United States, JoaQuin minimizes transportation costs and ensures on-time delivery. We've cultivated strong relationships with the Trucking and Rigging industries built on trust and personal connections — combined with our installation team's decades of specialized experience, we provide a truly comprehensive delivery service from factory floor to final energization.
We are committed to continuous improvement, including initiatives to protect the environment by recycling excess materials and building energy-efficient shelters. As times change, we remain dedicated to sustainability while honoring our rich history and commitment to excellence.
JoaQuin Manufacturing's mission is to engineer, design, fabricate, integrate, and install custom protective enclosures that provide the highest level of safety to both electronic equipment, the environment, and people — and integrate seamlessly into power distribution to bring energy to the world.
To be the trusted turnkey solution, guiding every project from design to installation while delivering precision-built, high-quality modular buildings for clients across the world.
Six disciplined steps — every project, every time. No surprises, no change-order games. Just a clear scope, a fixed schedule, and a building that works when it arrives.
Your project specs — dimensions, electrical loads, HVAC requirements, code jurisdiction, and delivery site — drive a precise, fixed-price quote. No generic catalog pricing. Every quote is a real engineering exercise.
Our in-house engineering team produces structural, electrical, and architectural drawings — coordinated across all disciplines. PE-stamped drawings submitted for your review and approval before a single piece of steel is cut.
All materials sourced with full heat-lot tracking and mill certifications. Structural steel, electrical gear, HVAC equipment, and finish materials are staged and verified before fabrication begins — zero mid-project surprises.
Seven production zones under one roof — welded steel skid, structural framing, exterior envelope, painting and finishing, interior fit-out, electrical integration, and HVAC installation — all sequenced and QC-checked against your approved drawings.
Every structure undergoes a 15-step production inspection before it leaves Denver. Dielectric and megger testing on all electrical circuits. Polarity verification. Operational test of HVAC, lighting, and controls. QC traveler packet signed and archived for 10 years minimum.
DOT-compliant transport to your site — any state, any climate zone. Professional crane offloading, foundation anchor bolt connection, final walk-through with your team, and commissioning support. JQMC's experienced offload team oversees every delivery personally to ensure a smooth, safe handoff from factory to foundation.
JoaQuin Manufacturing is investing in our people, our facilities, and our capabilities — so we can continue to meet the needs of our customers at the highest level, today and into the future.
JoaQuin Manufacturing continues to invest in the future with the recent acquisition of a second manufacturing location, expanding our production space by 140%. This strategic growth allows us to better serve our customers with increased capacity, faster lead times, and enhanced capabilities for complex projects.
Delivering buildings fully integrated is a key focus for 2026. Factory integration reduces on-site complexity, puts less pressure on field crews, enables smoother and more predictable installations, and creates a faster path to commissioning. Our electrical design team is ready to work with your team to understand standards, preferences, and reviews — delivering integration in a quality-controlled factory environment.
JoaQuin Manufacturing is committed to investing in our people through formal apprenticeship programs. We are currently accepting an apprentice for project management — a hands-on path into the engineering, scheduling, and field-coordination work that keeps our jobs running on time. A formal electrician apprenticeship program is also in development pending state acceptance, and we anticipate adding more apprenticeship tracks across the company in the years ahead.
48 years of engineering, fabrication, and delivery — to the industries that can't afford to get it wrong.
